Lemon Lime Baked Sweet Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar

7 ounces lemon lime soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons margarine

1 teaspoon nutmeg

4 large sweet potatoes sliced

Directions

In heavy skillet combine all ingredients except sweet potatoes.

Boil together 5 minutes then add sweet potatoes and simmer 20 minutes.

Place in 350 oven and bake 20 additional minutes.

As much as I love sweet potatoes I'm just gonna have to give this one a try. I just kept looking at what was in the pan before the potatoes. Took me a bit to figure out it was the gravy :)
