    You know, my husband, who makes Sunday Breakfast, has been on a quest of making the perfect biscuit for 20 years. He can bake up a storm. Cakes, pies, cookies, breads of all kinds. He is wonderful ! The allusive, common, fluffy biscuit that he tried to bake you can build your own Stonehenge with. Perhaps it is in one of these basic rules that he has not applied that is the problem. Thank you so much for posting this one. I hope (and pray) that once and for all he reaches his goal of baking the perfect biscuit so that we no longer have to suffer from the cast iron hockey puck syndrom.

    Great tips, there is just one missing. Use only soft wheat flower for biscuits. That will really keep them tender. Oh, yes and buttermilk.
