Beef Steaks With Yogurt Recipe
BEEF STEAKS WITH YOGURT This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Daly Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1992.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound cube steak pounded thin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 4 medium pears peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 8 ounces plain yogurt

Directions
  1. Rub steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil and cook steak 2 minutes on each side then place in an ovenproof casserole.
  3. Add cored sliced pears then blend evaporated milk and yogurt together and spread over pears.
  4. Place in preheated 325 oven and cook 30 minutes.
