Springtime Pasta Primavera

- 12 oz. farfalle shopping list
- 1/4c unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/2c haricots verts,ends trimmed shopping list
- 1/2c thin asparagus tips and stalks,sliced in 1" pieces shopping list
- 1/2c fresh peas shopping list
- 1/2c white mushrooms,thinly sliced shopping list
- salt and fresh ground black pepper shopping list
- 1c half and half shopping list
- 1/2c grated parmesan shopping list
- 4 seeded,diced ripe plum tomatoes shopping list
- 2 Tbs snipped chives shopping list
How to make it
- In large pot of boiling ,salted water,cook the pasta until just tender,about 12 mins. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in large pot over med-low heat and quickly saute vegetables until just tender. Do not overcook. Season well with salt and pepper. Add half and half and cook to thicken the sauce,5 mins. Season well with pepper.
- Toss in the drained pasta and sprinkle with parmesan. Garnish with diced tomatoes and chives. Serve immediately.
