How to make it

  • Beat cream cheese, butter, yolks and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Stir in almonds, lemon balm, lemon peel and marigold petals.
  • In another bowl beat whites until stiff peaks and gently fold into cream cheese mixture.
  • Pour mixture into a greased 9 inch springform pan.
  • Place on baking sheet.
  • Bake 350F about 55 minutes until golden brown and the sides pull away from pan.
  • Cool one hour and remove sides of pan and cool completely.
  • Garnish with the lemon balm and blossoms.
  • Chill well.
  • Texture like a cheesecake!
  • Serves 12 .
