Ingredients

3 tbls. lemon juice

2 tbls. sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. cumin

1/8 tsp. cayenne

1 lb. carrots, julienned

1/2 cup Mission figs, thinly sliced

Directions

In mixing bowl, add all ingredients except carrots and figs and blend until sugar and salt are dissolved

Add carrots and figs; and toss well

Let stand at room temp. until carrots wilt
