How to make it

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the oil.
  • Add the onion and saute until almost glassy. Add the black onion seeds and stir until you can hear them start to pop.
  • Add the cumin and cook until the fragrance comes out.
  • Remove from the heat and let cool.
  • Mix the yogurt, cucumber and the salt and pepper. Add the cooled onion and spice mixture and stir to combine.
  • Put in the refidgerator for about a half hour or overnight.
