Jerky Recipe
My cousin makes this jerky almost every year.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2-2 pounds boneless meat (can use beef, venison, white meat chicken or turkey)
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. hickory smoked flavored salt
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions
  1. Use lean cuts of meat, trim and discard fat
  2. Cut 1/8-1/4" slices
  3. Combine ingredients
  4. Add to meat strips and thoroughly coat all surfaces
  5. Let stand for 1 hour or cover and refrigerate overnight
  6. Drain meat strips
  7. Arrange in one layer on dehydrator racks
  8. Dehydrate according to manufacturer's directions
  9. Meat will turn brown and feel dry and hard to the touch
  10. Store in airtight containers
