Artichoke-Chicken Stroganoff

- 4 (6 ounce) jars marinated artichoke hearts, drained shopping list
- 8 chicken breast halves, skinned, boned and cut into strips. shopping list
- 1 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 4 chicken-flavored bouillon cubes shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups boiling waters shopping list
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried whole dillweed shopping list
- 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- Hot cooked rice or noodles shopping list
How to make it
- Drain artichokes, reserving marinade. Set artichoke hearts and marinade aside.
- Saute chicken, onion, and garlic in 1/4 cup reserved marinade in a large skillet until chicken is lightly browned and onion is tender.
- Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water: pour over chicken.
- Combine flour, dry mustard, and dillweed in a small bowl: stir well. Add flour mixture to remaining artichoke marinade: stir until smooth. Pour over chicken. Bring mixture to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 4 to 5 minutes or until chicken is done. Remove from heat.
- Stir in reserved artichoke hearts, sour cream, and salt. Serve over rice or noodles.
