Artichoke-Chicken Stroganoff Recipe
An easy dish that appears you have spent the entire day in the kitchen. May be served over noodles or rice.

Ingredients
  • 4 (6 ounce) jars marinated artichoke hearts, drained
  • 8 chicken breast halves, skinned, boned and cut into strips.
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 chicken-flavored bouillon cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling waters
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried whole dillweed
  • 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Hot cooked rice or noodles

Directions
  1. Drain artichokes, reserving marinade. Set artichoke hearts and marinade aside.
  2. Saute chicken, onion, and garlic in 1/4 cup reserved marinade in a large skillet until chicken is lightly browned and onion is tender.
  3. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water: pour over chicken.
  4. Combine flour, dry mustard, and dillweed in a small bowl: stir well. Add flour mixture to remaining artichoke marinade: stir until smooth. Pour over chicken. Bring mixture to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 4 to 5 minutes or until chicken is done. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in reserved artichoke hearts, sour cream, and salt. Serve over rice or noodles.
