Chocolate Tea Bread

- 1/4 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 2/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/3 cup cocoa shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 cup buttermilk shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter, sugar and egg in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
- Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture.
- Beat on low speed just until blended.
- Pour into greased 8-1/2x4-1/2x2-1/2 inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes.
- Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack and slice.
