Croissant French Toast Recipe
This is great to serve for company... or anytime you want something special... Great for brunch.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons brandy
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 9 small croissants
  • melted butter
  • Garnish: Confectioners sugar and raspberries

Directions
  1. In medium bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, brandy, vanilla extract, and sugar.
  2. Cut croissants in half length wise.
  3. Dip croissant halves in milk mixture and place in casserole dish for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat griddle to 350 degrees; brush with melted butter.
  5. Cook croissant halves on griddle until golden brown on both sides; serve warm.
  6. Garnish with confectioner's sugar and raspberries, if desired.

Yes....Yes....Yes! Sunday morning breakfast-great post. I have done a similar recipe with french bread and it is so decadent because of the thickness of the bread...but my oh my...croissants...yes, again!
