How to make it

  • Make the dark chocolate cake mix according to package directions and pour into a 9x13 greased pan. Do not bake yet, set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl combine Ricotta Cheese, Vanilla, Sugar and Eggs.
  • Mix thoughly.
  • Spoon Cheese mixture over chocolate cake. Do not mix the cake. The cheese mixture will sink by itself while baking.
  • Bake a 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  • Cake is better served the second day.
  • To frost cake, mix 1 box of instant chocolate pudding with 1 cup of milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Combine pudding with a small container of Cool Whip and mix well.
  • Only frost cake when ready to serve and not a day ahead.
