Italian Love Cake

- 1 Dark chocolate cake mix shopping list
- 2 lbs ricotta cheese shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- Frosting: shopping list
- 1 box Instant chocolate pudding shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 small container of Cool Whip shopping list
How to make it
- Make the dark chocolate cake mix according to package directions and pour into a 9x13 greased pan. Do not bake yet, set aside.
- In a mixing bowl combine Ricotta Cheese, Vanilla, Sugar and Eggs.
- Mix thoughly.
- Spoon Cheese mixture over chocolate cake. Do not mix the cake. The cheese mixture will sink by itself while baking.
- Bake a 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Cake is better served the second day.
- To frost cake, mix 1 box of instant chocolate pudding with 1 cup of milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Combine pudding with a small container of Cool Whip and mix well.
- Only frost cake when ready to serve and not a day ahead.
