How to make it

  • Spray the bottom and sides of 6 or 8 inch spring-pan with cooking spray
  • Swirl 1/2 cup of bread crumbs or crushed crackers (Ritz) to dust sides and bottom of pan.
  • Set in fridge.
  • Blend cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time.
  • Add lemon juice and pepper.
  • Fold in bacon, chestnuts, and cheese, mixing thoroughly.
  • Pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake at 325^ for 45-50 minutes.
  • Let cool and serve at room temperature.
  • Leftovers can be refridgerated or frozen in a tight wrapping of plastic.
