How to make it

  • Heat your oven to 190c (375f)...grease & line an 8-10'' shallow tin. Cream the butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, adding a teaspoon of flour with the second egg, fold in the remaining flour, bananas & 2 oz of the nuts.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the tin & spread the leftover walnuts on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Once you remove it from the oven, just leave for a couple of minutes in the tin before leaving to cool on a wire rack.
