Swedish Hamburgers

- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/2 medium white onion chopped shopping list
- 1 pound ground sirloin shopping list
- 4 egg yolks shopping list
- 1/2 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped canned beets shopping list
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped capers shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil shopping list
- 4 fried eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a small skillet over moderate heat and sauté onion 5 minutes.
- Combine with ground beef, egg yolks, cream, beets, capers and vinegar in bowl.
- Form into 4 large patties.
- Heat remaining butter and oil in large skillet over moderate heat.
- Fry patties 4 minutes per side then serve on buns topped with eggs and condiments of choice.
