How to make it

  • Heat oil in frying pan and sauté the onion, garlic, onions until very lightly browned. Put the chayote squash into a saucepan with cold water to cover and simmer covered until tender about 20 minutes. Drain and let cool. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. Season to taste. Serve sparingly with meat or fish. Extremely hot. Keeps indefinately in the refrigerator.
