Bacon Egg And Cheese Melt Recipe

Add Step-by-Step Photos	April13 / All my dishes 5 months, 3 weeks ago Just combined everything to have in a sandwich. To avoid using more butter, I toast the bread right before egg was fully cooked. In doing so, I would add cheese to egg after I flip so it can melt then arrange egg, cheese & bacon inside toast. Prep:8m Cook:10m Servings:1	April13

Cook bacon

Butter the bread

Melt the butter and

Add egg & mix well.

Place egg, bacon & c

Flip over and grill

Ingredients

2 slices bread

1 egg

2 slices bacon; cooked

1 slice cheese

Butter

Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

Cook bacon and set aside.

Preheat skillet over low/medium heat and add butter until foams (if it doesn’t foam temperature is too low; if it melts without foaming, temperature too high).

Add egg and salt & pepper to taste. Scramble egg around until mixed well. Do not mix egg any more, allow to cook on one side until egg starts to get fluffy. Flip egg over and continue to cook until egg is solid.

Butter 1 side of each bread.

Place egg between unbuttered side of bread, add slice of cheese and bacon.

Put on heated skillet and grill until golden on both sides.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention. I've also made this with leftover ham from holidays or even store bought ham. Just make sure the ham isn't sliced too thick.
