Honey Cake

- 2 ½ C all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- ½ tsp baking soda shopping list
- ½ tsp salt shopping list
- ½ tsp ground cloves shopping list
- 3 large eggs shopping list
- 1 C honey shopping list
- 1 C sugar shopping list
- 1 C vegetable oil shopping list
- ½ C brewed coffee shopping list
- ¼ C water shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350ºF and generously butter a 12-cup bundt pan (or sheet cake pan).
- In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and cloves.
- In a small bowl, lightly beat eggs.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add eggs with remaining ingredients, whisking until combined well.
- Pour batter into pan and bake in middle of oven until a tester comes out clean (about 50 minutes).
- Cook cake in pan on rack 20 minutes and turn out onto rack to cool completely.
- Keep in airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
