Baked Pork Chops And Macaroni Creole

- 4 pork chops shopping list
- 1 tablespoon salad oil shopping list
- 1 cup sliced white onions shopping list
- 1 clove garlic crushed shopping list
- 1 pound canned tomatoes whole with juice shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme shopping list
- 1 bay leaf crumbled shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper shopping list
- 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni shopping list
How to make it
- Wipe chops with damp paper towel then trim excess fat.
- Place on rack in broiler pan then broil on both sides until nicely browned.
- Place onions and garlic in skillet with hot oil and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, thyme, bay leaf, salt and pepper and mix well.
- Add cooked macaroni to tomato mixture then mix well and arrange chops on top.
- Bake covered for 40 minutes then serve immediately.
