Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook onion til soft, and add lamb. Cook for a few minutes.
  • stir in mashed potato, peas, sauce and coriander.
  • Set aside to cool.
  • Cut rounds from sheets of puff pastry using an 8cm cutter.
  • Place a heaped teaspoon of mixture in the centre of each.
  • Moisten edges with water and press together to seal.
  • Fry or bake samosas until puffed and golden.
  • Serve with chutney and yoghurt, combined or separate, as a dipping sauce.

    Hi Turlak!! Thanks for your comments. Rogan Josh sauce is simply a pre-made spicy Indian sauce that you can buy from supermarkets or Indian speciality stores. "Patak's" is a pretty well known brand over here in Australia, and I'm sure you have many other good brands over there, its just a matter of finding a stockist.

    Hi! I've had fun looking at your recipes...gotta love the lamb - and I will be cooking some of your recipes soon. I have a quick question. What is Rogan Josh sauce? and could you freeze these before you bake them to make them ahead of time? It is worth a try, but was just wondering if you had done that. Thanks a bunch!
