Golden Cornbread With Cinnamon Honey Butter Recipe

Ingredients

2 1/ cup unbleached flour

1 tsp salt

1 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal

2 1/2 cup buttermilk

4 tsp baking powder

1/4 cup grapeseed oil

1/4 cup melted butter

2/3 cup sugar

2 beaten eggs

Cinnamon Honey Butter:

1/2 cup honey

1/3 cup butter

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven 400*

Combine dry ingredients mix well and make a well in the center set aside

Beat together very well eggs, oil, Butter and milk

Pour into well stir just until dry bits are moistened

Pour into a sprayed or lightly buttered 8"x8" square pan

Bake 20-25 minutes until golden cool on rack

serve with Cinnamon Honey butter

To make up Butter :

Combine butter, Honey and Cinnamon

Mix in mixer until light and fluffy
