How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 300F, grease a loaf pan.
  • Combine the flaxseed and water, let stand 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, beat sugar, oil, molasses, ginger, vanilla, Amarula and banana until smooth.
  • Stir in flaxseed mixture and yogurt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flours, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, baking powder and nutmeg.
  • Add the flours to the wet ingredients, stirring gently to just incorporate.
  • Fold in the mango pieces.
  • Bake 60-70 minutes, until tests done.
  Close

    You could almost make me convert to Vegan with this one.

    OUT STANDING!!

    The Mesquite Flour would not be a problem around here,the trees are near by and all over the place.Have not ground my own flour with the pods,but would give it a try,just for this when they ripen and fall to the ground.The Butterscotch flavored liqueur is one that I use from time to time in my coffee,rich,rich,rich!!
