Crostata di susine con zucchero di canna e zenzero

- one package of pasta frolla or make homemade shopping list
- 8 ounces or 250 g tart plum jam shopping list
- about 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger shopping list
- about 1/4 cup light brown sugar (zucchero di canna) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 175°C or 350°F
- Lay a sheet of pasta frolla in a 9" tart pan with a removable bottom.
- Mix the grated fresh ginger into the plum jam
- Spread the jam over the bottom crust.
- Evenly sprinkle the brown sugar over the tart jam
- Cut the other piece of pastry into strips and lay them over the jam layer in a lattice pattern-- it doesn't actually have to interlace, just make the pattern.
- Put into the oven and cook to golden.
- Cool before slicing.
- Serve with a pool of fresh, unsweetened heavy cream on the plate next to the piece of crostata.
