Ingredients
  • 2 handful raw peanut. here we used peanuts just out the shell. niether roasted or fried. These peanuts are soaked over night and become softer.
  • 1 tsp of fine white mustard seeds
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tsp of mustard oil

Directions
  1. we use hand grinder at home. basically have to grind all the ingredients alongwith oil and salt to taste
  2. Serve hot with steamed rice. During winters, the hotness of the chillies will warm you up immediately and the peanut and mustard seeds will keep the cold away.

Hi Chandrima. Thanks for your many recipes. In this, are white mustard seeds different than yellow (which makes the typical yellow mustard used in USA)? I know & have brown mustard seeds; would they be a good substitute? The seeds are used raw? ~~~ Is there another oil possible to use besides mustard oil?

Well u can use brown mustard seeds butmay be u can try sesame seed oil also. however mustard is the best
