How to make it

  • Cook potatoes and garlic together in saucepan until tender,drain and place back into pan.
  • Cook the green onion in a little of the bacon grease,set aside.
  • Using hand held potato masher(electric mixer,seems to make them gummy...anyway...for me,that is)
  • Mash the garlic and potatoes with the cream,sour cream,until will blended.
  • Stir in the swiss cheese pepper,salt,nutmeg.
  • Note: I like fresh tomatoes,seeded,diced in mine.
  • So come on all you Baby Boomers...get off your chair,and do...THE MASHED POTATO!
