CHERRIES AND PECANS WITH ZING Recipe
These are hard to discribe... one bite is crunchy, one is chewey, one sweet, one with a mild kick... Just good.... try them... I think you will enjoy them. You can also use dried cranberries!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 cup dried tart cherries (or cranberries)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon seasoned salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine pecans and cherries.
  2. In a small bowl, combine Worcestershire sauce, cayenne, garlic powder, seasoned salt, cumin and oregano
  3. Mix well.
  4. Pour over pecan mixture; stir well to coat.
  5. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add pecan mixture.
  7. Cook, stirring constantly, 4 to 5 minutes. DO NOT LET mixture tburn. Remove from heat.
  8. Spread pecans on waxed paper to cool.
  9. Store in a tightly covered container.
