Planked Salmon with Cucumber Dill Sauce

- 1 /12 lbs salmon filets, skin on shopping list
- 2 Tbl olive oil shopping list
- 2 Tbl brown sugar shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 2 tsp dried dill, divided shopping list
- 1 medium cucumber, peeled, seede and thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 Tbl plain yougurt or sour cream shopping list
- 1 tsp white wine vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Submerge cedar plank in cold water at least an hour or overnight
- Brush skin side of filiets and place in a large
- In a small bowl combine brown sugar, garlic and 1 tsp of the dill
- Spread mixture over salmon, pressing to coat
- Cover and refrigerate at least one hour
- Preheat grill to medium low
- Place plank on grill and heat until they begin to smoke, about 5 minutes
- Season salmon with salt and pepper to taste and place skin side down on plank
- Grill covered about 20 minutes or until fish slakes easily with a fork
- Meanwhile, for sauce, in a small bowl combine remaining dill, cucumber, yogurt or sour cream, vinegar and salt and pepper to taste; stir, chill, serve with salmon
