Summertime Chicken Florentine Pasta Recipe
This is a very good and quick pasta recipe! Light and tasty perfect for the hot summer nights or anytime you want a nice light pasta meal. Serves 4 to 6 people

Ingredients
  • 1 pound angel hair pasta, cooked according to package directions
  • 1 package Tyson's precooked grilled chicken strips
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1/2 bag frozen seasoning blend(onion, celery, mix)
  • 1 1/3 cup milk or half and half
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 bag fresh baby spinach or 2 to 3 cups fresh spinach
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • cracked pepper and salt to taste
  • *1 cup sliced mushrooms if desired can be added
  • shredded Italian blend cheese or Parmesan Cheese

Directions
  1. cook pasta according to directions and drain and set aside
  2. Saute season blend in butter for 2 minutes over med heat.
  3. Stir in spinach(mushrooms)and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Add broth and bring to a low boil
  5. Mix together the corn starch with the water until dissolved
  6. Add to mixture
  7. Slowly stir in milk, lower heat and add chicken.
  8. Stir in white wine and season with salt and cracked pepper and continue to cook 2 to 3 minutes while stirring.
  9. Remove from heat.
  10. Place pasta in large serving bowl or plate
  11. Top with sauce and sprinkle with cheese if desired
  12. You can also top with a little sliced green onions or parsley
