Lemon Dill Chicken Recipe
LEMON DILL CHICKEN This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Pittman Estate in Hurst, Texas in 1993.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 6 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 medium green onion sliced

Directions
  1. Melt butter in skillet over medium high heat then cook chicken in butter 6 minutes turning once.
  2. Mix wine, dill weed, lemon juice and salt then pour over chicken.
  3. Bring to boiling then reduce heat to low and cover then simmer 15 minutes.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and keep warm.
  5. Meanwhile heat wine mixture to boiling then boil 3 minutes and pour over chicken.
  6. Sprinkle with onion and serve immediately.
