How to make it

  • Cut rhubarb stalks into 1cm pieces
  • do not peel the rhubarb
  • quarter strawberries
  • put rhubarb pieces in a large pot and simmer until tender (2-3 minutes)
  • add strawberries, sugar, vanilla and pectin
  • boil for 3 minutes
  • fill into sterilised jars
  • close jars and stand them upside down for about 10 minutes
