Refreshing dish that usually takes place of a plate of salad. Very refreshing on hot summer days. Can be used as an appetizer or as a dip.

Refreshingly delicious! I made this to dip pita bread in, & to accompany Kutadkubilik's marvelous "Zucchini Fritters" (altho' as it turned out, the fritters did not need any dip/sauce, but together they were great). I used only 1/3 of the water, as that made it soupy enough for my taste. I also grated the cucumber before I remembered it was supposed to be diced - the grated cucumber let out plenty of water, while simultaneously giving body to the dip/sauce.
