Chile Chocolate Drupes

- 2-1/2 Cups Whole Unpeeled almonds(Not blanched) shopping list
- 1 Pound brown sugar shopping list
- 1 Cup water shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon cumin shopping list
- 2 teaspoons coriander seeds shopping list
- 1 teaspoons table salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- ~Make sure all your spices are fresh~ shopping list
- 2/3 Cup cocoa powder shopping list
- 1/4 Cup powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Stir together...cumin,coriander seeds,salt,cayenne pepper,cinnamon.
- Place brown sugar and water in pan,heat until dissolved.
- Add almonds.
- Scoop out with slotted spoon , to drain liquid.
- Toss in spices.
- Place on greased pan and place in a 300 degree oven.
- Bake for 20 minutes,stir gently half way through baking time.
- Stir together the cocoa and powdered sugar.
- Roll hot almonds in the cocoa mixture.
- Highly revered in many cultures...THE ALMOND

- "Drupes"..."Shaken"..."Hasten"..."Luz"..."Hazel"...or..."Almande"
