How to make it

  • Combine water ( approx 110 deg F ), dark corn syrup, and yeast. Let set and allow to bloom. ( about 5 min. )
  • While waiting for yeast to bloom combine the rest of the dry ingredients. Measure out vinegar and set aside.
  • Once yeast has bloomed and developed a foam, put in mixer bowl. At this point add the vinegar. Use dough hook and begin adding dry's about a cup at a time until fully combined and developed a smooth ball. Put in a large lightly oiled bowl and allow to rise until doubled in size.
  • Once risen, take from bowl. Punch down and knead for about 3-5 minutes. Form into a loaf shape. Place in a greased loaf pan and allow to rise again about 45-min to a hour. Then bake in a 350 deg oven for 30 to 45 min.
