Tapenade

- 75g pine nuts shopping list
- 250g pitted black olives (I use kalamata) shopping list
- 50ml olive oil shopping list
- 10 fresh basil leaves shopping list
- handful (say, half a cup) fresh Italian parsley (curly is OK if you've not got the flat leaf) shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 3 sundried tomatos shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- fresh chilli to taste shopping list
How to make it
- toast the pine nuts in a hot dry pan, adding the garlic for the last 30seconds
- add pine nuts to all other ingredients in a processor bowl
- process to taste (I leave it lumpy, others prefer smooth!)
- enjoy on toasted french bread, ciabatta, or with raw vegetables as a dip
