How to make it

  • Clean and rinse shrimp, leave in shell.
  • Fill gallon jar with shrimp within 1 inch of top.
  • Pour in tequila and lime juice.
  • Seal jar and let marinate for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Soak skewers per instructions.
  • Drain shrimp.
  • Thread 6 to 8 shrimp per skewer.
  • Heat grill to lowest temp.
  • Oil grates to keep shrimp from sticking.
  • Lay skewers on grates and brush on butter sauce.
  • Watch carefully as each grill varies.
  • Mine takes about 7 minutes for first side.
  • Turn over shrimp and brush again.
  • Once shrimp become "red", they are done.
  • Any reserve butter sauce may be use to brush on again.
  • Remove from skewers, peel, and enjoy!!
