How to make it

  • After washing and cutting chicken tenders put into a large pot and add the stick of butter and cover with water, about three-fourths full of water, add salt and pepper and cook on medium high heat until just enough water is left to cover the chicken.
  • While the chicken is cooking go ahead and mix the bisquick mix and buttermilk together in a medium bowl for the dumplings.
  • Once the chicken has cooked, add the evaporated milk and cream of chicken soup, bring to a slow boil and reduce heat to medium low and begin to add the dumplings.
  • Once you have all the dumplings in reduce heat to low, cover and cook 20 to minutes, longer if needed.
