Ingredients
  • 1 pkg. (1lb. 2oz.) oreo chocolate sandwich cookies, divided
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
  • 4 pkg. ( 8oz.. each) Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup Breakstone's or Knudsen sour cream
  • 4 eggs

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Place 30 divided cookies in a food processor; cover. Process 30 to 45 seconds or until finely ground.
  3. Add the melted butter; mix well Press firmly onto bottom of a 13-by-9 inch backing pan.
  4. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  5. Add sour cream; mix well.
  6. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating just until blended after each addition.
  7. Chop remaining cookies. Gently stir 1-1/2 cups of the chopped cookies into cream cheese batter.
  8. Pour over crust; sprnkle with remaining chopped cookies.
  9. Bake 45 min. or until center is almost set.
  10. Cool.
  11. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.
  12. Cut into 16 pieces.
  13. Store leftover Cheesecake in refrigerator
  14. TIP: for easy removal, line pan with foil, with ends extending over pan's sides. Lift from pan, using foil handles.
  15. ENJOY!!
