Hawaiian Fudge Recipe
This recipe comes from the Lawson Estate that I obtained when I purchased the family collection from Duncanville, Texas in 1984.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups granulated sugar
  • 14 ounces crushed pineapple well drained
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Directions
  1. Mix sugar, pineapple and cream then stir over low heat to dissolve sugar.
  2. Bring to boil and cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thermometer reaches 238F.
  3. Remove from heat then cool to lukewarm and add butter then beat until mixture loses its gloss.
  4. Quickly add nuts and stir in then spread into buttered square pan then cool and cut into squares.
