How to make it

  • Mix sugar, pineapple and cream then stir over low heat to dissolve sugar.
  • Bring to boil and cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thermometer reaches 238F.
  • Remove from heat then cool to lukewarm and add butter then beat until mixture loses its gloss.
  • Quickly add nuts and stir in then spread into buttered square pan then cool and cut into squares.
