Ingredients

How to make it

  • Set the pastry on an oven tray. With a sharp knife, score a line about an inch from the outside. This will form the crust.
  • Chop the onions and fry them until soft and slightly brown. Crush the garlic and add that.
  • Slice the mushrooms and add them to the onions. Fry on a low heat until cooked through.
  • Add the wine and the dill, and simmer until most of the liquid evaporates.
  • Stir in the horseradish sauce and crème fraîche.
  • Spoon the mixture onto the pastry, roughly keeping it inside the lines that you've scored.
  • Put the tart in the oven for about half an hour on 180ºC until the pastry has risen and browned off.

The horseradish sauce I used was Simply Delicious brand. It basically contains egg and oil and horseradish, as far as I know.

The pastry was Jus Rol ready to use stuff. It's quick and easy and comes in a pack of two sheets about 9x12". It's usually sold frozen.
