Ingredients
  • Ingredients
  • 1 canned chickpeas, drained (1lb, 454g)
  • ½ cup Tahini (sesame seed paste)
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 5-6 garlic clove smashed
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 lemons juice
  • sumach
  • red pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder

Directions
  1. Hummus is one of my favorite foods. This is not Turkish style Hummus, because we use garlic and not use yogurt. But my friend (from Palastine) she is making hummus with yogurt and without garlic. She thinks raw garlic has a strong flavor and overpower the hummus. So I liked it too in this way, you can give it a try.
  2. Preparation
  3. Peel the skins of chickpeas and place all ingredients in food processor. Process it until smooth, scraping the sides occasionally. Iheat the oil and add to red crashed pepper ,sumach,cummin..sprinkle all over to hummus..
  4. and parsley as garnish. You can serve with pita wedges or crackers.
