How to make it

  • Shell:
  • Cream margarine and cream cheese.
  • Work in flour (if dough is too soft , chill)
  • Roll into 24 balls and press into bottom and sides of small, greased muffin tins (1 3/4" across)
  • Filling:
  • Combine brown sugar, salt, melted butter, vanilla and egg.
  • Spoon into unbaked shells.
  • Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.
  • Cool on rack.
  • Serve with a dollop of whipped cream!
