How to make it

  • Heat a small pot medium heat, melt butter then saute the onions and peppers for 5 - 10 minutes until well softened.
  • Thinly slice the pork chops then pull apart the slices to make small bites.
  • Mix the sauce by combining barbecue sauce, ketchup, water and muster and stirring well.
  • Add the pork to the onions and peppers and toss well.
  • Add the sauce and mix the vegetables and pork well.
  • Reduce heat to 2 low and let simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Serve on hamburger rolls and let me recommend a nice cold beer.
  • My husband has a habit of putting Velveeta on his - to each his own - but I know this makes him happy. The calorie counts do not include either the beer or the Velveeta.
