Stovetop Saute Of Pork N Veggies Over Yellow Rice

- 1-1 1/2 pounds of pork cut for stew and pounded shopping list
- seasoned flour to coat shopping list
- sesame oil shopping list
- dash of white wine shopping list
- 1 small pat butter shopping list
- 1 bunch green onions chopped in 1 inch pieces shopping list
- 1 small bag chopped frozen vidaila or Texas sweet onions shopping list
- sliced large green pimento olives shopping list
- leftover veggies: shopping list
- I had a handful of peas shopping list
- about 8 string beans shopping list
- chopped tomatoes ( from tacos) shopping list
- spoonful sour cream shopping list
- 4 red or green chili peppers sliced very thin shopping list
- frozen and thawed pork gravy shopping list
- rice in broth shopping list
How to make it
- Start rice so it finishes cooking in about 25 minutes
- I subbed broth for water
- Heat saute pan
- on medium heat
- add butter and oil
- when hot add floured meat
- should cook in about 4 minutes and remove from pan
- add onion and peppers cook about 2-3 minutes
- add gravy
- add sour cream and dash of wine
- add eat and all veggies to heat
- Place cooked creamy rice on platter(cooked according to package directions with added oil or butter)
- Pour meat mixture over
- Serve and enjoy with a glass of chilled Greenleaf Zinfandel
- Hot biscuits go well also or french bread

Was this made with a Yellow Rice mix, or did you use saffron to make it yellow? Sounds really good. ^5
