B and B Maple Cider Syrup Recipe

How to make it

  • Combine cornstarch, cider, and 2 tablespoons B&B in a saucepan, stirring until smooth;
  • add maple syrup, brown sugar and lemon juice.
  • Bring to a boil over medium-high heat; boil 1 minute.
  • Stir in 1/4 cup B&B.
  • Yield 2 cups

    I've tried googling to no avail --for a dumb donwunder guy ,what is B&B ?? --I assume a sort of syrup with B&B the proprietary name --or as my wife suggested -brandy and benedictine which would make a mighty punch at brekkie on waffles !!!
