- 2 tsp/cubes chicken bouillon of your choice shopping list
- 1 tbs italian seasoning shopping list
- 1 tsp crushed garlic shopping list
- 1 stick (1/2 c.) butter/margarine, pre-melted shopping list
- 4 chicken breast halves OR chicken breast tenderloins shopping list
How to make it
- Add water to microwave safe dish and heat to boiling (about 2 minutes).
- While water is heating, liberally prick breasts with a fork on both sides.
- When water is done boiling, add bouillon, Italian seasoning, garlic and butter/margarine, stir well.
- Carefully place breasts top side down, spoon liquid over the tops of the chicken if it isn't fully immersed in the liquid.
- Cover and heat on HIGH for 5-7 minutes.
- Let it sit for a minute (IF YOU DO NOT have a turn-style then also turn the dish once as well as rearrange the chicken) then heat on HIGH for an additional 5 minutes.
- Check first to be sure chicken is cooked thoroughly. If not, cook in additional 2 minute intervals.
- Note: These instructions are for my microwave which is a 1200 watt microwave. For adjustments see this site: http://www.microwavecookingforone.com/Charts/ChartSpecial.html and scroll down to 1200 watts.

Thanks Magnolia! I really don't use my microwave enough for cooking, apart from veg... It's a 650W model though, 20 yrs old Toshiba but built to last... thanks for the info regarding converting cooking times.
Cheers
