Sweet And Sour Sesame Beef Recipe
SWEET AND SOUR SESAME BEEF This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Marcus Estate in Greenville, Texas in 1994.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Catalina dressing
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 pounds beef tenderloin cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 large sweet onion quartered
  • 1 green bell pepper seeded and sliced
  • 15 ounces pineapple chunks drained

Directions
  1. Combine first 6 ingredients and mix well to form the marinade.
  2. Place beef in a large sealable plastic bag and pour marinade over beef.
  3. Chill for several hours then heat oil in a skillet and remove beef from marinade.
  4. Reserve marinade then stir fry beef until done then add vegetable and cook until crisp tender.
  5. Pour reserved marinade over beef and vegetables and cook 10 minutes.
  6. Serve over hot cooked rice.
