How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Remove tops, seeds and membranes from peppers.
- Crumble sausage meat into skillet and saute with chopped onion.
- Drain fat and stir in cooked rice, 1 1/2 cups cheese and chopped tomato.
- Fill peppers with sausage mixture and top with remaining cheese.
- Arrange in a 9" square pan and add 1/4 cup water around peppers.
- Bake 30 minutes until peppers are tender.
