Why I started this group

  • trackwidow 16 years ago
I started this group because my husband loves cilantro. I like it too, but he LOVES it. I usually end up doubling the amount called for in a recipe. Luckily we can get decent fresh cilantro even in the winter now.

Cilantro is something I have grown to like. It's not one of those neutral flavors so I did have to go at it slowly.
I'm getting used to to the flavor but now I do like it.

Thank you. I love the stuff. Especially with shrimp. I've always got bags of it in my fridge. Even my rabbit like it, I give him the stems!

No question that cilantro is an acquired taste, Like anchovies, Greek olives and mushrooms, one must learn to like them; then they become indispensable. Glad to be among other cilantro lovers.

I love cilantro, it adds a kick to all sorts of dishes. I always love it when I sneak it into one of my recipes (like my Tuna Salad), no one can seem to tell what it is that makes it so flavorful. (giggles) I'm looking forward to learning new recipes and meeting other Cilantro lovers! :)

I love not only the taste, but there is something about the smell of Cilantro that is quite sensual to me.
I'm here looking for a cilantro soup actually, I'm sure there is one around here somewhere.
