? about Crescents Rolls

Has anyone opened a package of crescent rols and only made half the roll and saved the other half?...Since it's just the 2 of us, when making as a side for dinner 4 are enough and I was wondering if I could save them, freeze them, or what....Or is cooking them all at once what I need to do?

We don't need the whole tube either...but, never thought of saving half...we take them in our lunch, eat them with jelly the next morning, etc. etc.

Well, I certainly can't answer that question. Family of five here...

I do have a story though.....this last weekend had crescent rolls on the grocery list. We get them home, unload the bags onto the counter, I had all the tubes up on end. Steve was sitting there and I heard this 'pop'. I turned around and he said, I guess those wanna be cooked right away. The end of the tube had popped off and the dough was coming out of the can. Had to use scissors to open the rest of the tube.

Ang, I've had cans explode in the fridge too......I think I need to open a can and make half for dinner and another 3 as danish and save one to see if it can be saved.....Then next time I'll save one to freeze and see if that can be done.....Or just go the Pillsbury site and see if I can ask there....LOL....Thank you , my friends...:)

I've done it. Just wrapped dough tightly in plastic wrap. They do need to be used fairly soon though as they tend to lose their "rise".
