What's the difference between clicking on the "save" icon to the right of the recipe's picture and clicking on the "I like it, click to bookmark" icon to the right of the people who liked this dish area? Doesn't either of the icons save the recipe to your bookmarked listing?

As far as I can tell, yes, they both put them in your Bookmarks... but, if you save it from the top, it allows you to add your extra tags, and it does list you as "I like it" members, at the bottom.... but they save it the same, as far as I know.

    Keni is right there.

Both methods will store a recipe in your bookmarks, but with the option in the "toolbar" (row of icons), you can add your own keywords to categorize the recipe in your bookmarks. You will show up in the "people who like this dish" section either way.

Also, just want to make sure you are using the proper bookmarks location (www.grouprecipes.com/bookmarks). We need to make this more clear, as many people are using their profile pages bookmark section, which isn't as robust.

Now that explains a LOT. I wasn't finding my special extra tags on the profile page. The www.grouprecipies.com/bookmarks location is where the tag filters went.
I thought that location was searching the entire data base instead of my bookmarks. First time I have ever used it.

Yeah, we should definitely make this clearer. We'll add a special note on the profile page bookmarks section.

I also find it interesting that if you bookmark a recipe, then delete it, you remain as "liking" it on the recipe's page... I'm not sure if that was done on purpose or not it was just something I noticed because I delete all my own recipes from my bookmarks... I don't need them. :) And, I don't need to be seen as "liking" it, so I wouldn't actively do that if it were a choice, but since it isn't a choice, no big deal, either... I don't need it to change, am just noting it, is all :) :)

Keni, what you are seeing is a delay. You will be removed from the "people who liked this" list, it just might take a bit for the change to show up.

    Thank you. :)

I won't be liking my own recipes, then...I'm okay with that ;)
